2007 PDCA Annual Dexter Photo Contest

There will be a Dexter photo contest at the 2007 PDCA Meeting, Show and Sale. We all love to take pictures of our cattle through out the year, so here is a fun way to show them off favorite photos, and participate in the 2007 Annual PDCA Meeting. This is a great way for those who can’t join us in Salt Lake City, Utah this year to be a part of the Show. Pictures will be displayed at the fair grounds during the PDCA Meeting, and Show along with the rest of the exhibitors. The contest is open to all PDCA members.
Entries must be 5 x 7 or 8 x 10s. Each photo entry is $3. Please send checks or money orders made out to the PDCA, along with your name and address to:

Classes will be offered in the following categories:

1. Individual cattle pictures

2. Dexters in a scenic setting

3. Dexters and people

4. Working Dexters

5. Dexters on display, (Shows, field days, etc)

6. Dexters for beef

7. Milking Dexters

8. Dexter calves

9. Dexter cow-calf

10. Dexter herd bulls

The PDCA reserves the right to use photo entries for the purpose of promotion of the breed, but will give appropriate credit to owners if photos are used. No photos will be returned. Awards will be given in each class and participants at the PDCA meeting will select a Grand Prize Photo. The winner will receive a one-year free membership in the PDCA.

The annual Meeting, Show, and Sale will begin on Thursday, September 6 and go to Saturday, September 8. The show will be held at the Salt Lake County Fairgrounds in Salt Lake City, Utah. Cost for the event will be $50.00 per person which will cover admission to the meetings and classes, dinner on Friday night, and lunch on Saturday.

Please make your own airline and hotel reservations. There is one major airport in Salt Lake City. The Salt Lake International Airport is just off of the Bangerter Highway and is less than 15 miles from the Fairgrounds. Here is a list of some of the hotels and campgrounds in the area:
